our pick This luxurious utterly delightful B&B is set in a rambling Georgian house. It's dripping with quirky charm - stripped wooden floors combine with a sweeping staircase, ornate mirrors and stylish modern art. The effect is deeply elegant, but also wonderfully easy-going. The fact that it's a five-minute walk into town, and is surrounded by soothing tree-shaded grounds, adds to the appeal.
